How much sleep should I get each night?

The average number of sleep hours used to be 8-9. Today it is closer 6-7. In order to keep up energy levels, people are turning to food. Studies have shown that people who are sleep deprived eat as much as 10-15 percent more calories. This can add up to several extra pounds over the course of a few years.
